Microsoft Surface is sold more cheaply than the iPad

Seattle - Microsoft will sell the price of their latest tablet, Surface, cheaper than the iPad.

As quoted by Reuters, the largest software company in the world to sell Surface Wi-Fi 32 GB at a price of 499 U.S. dollars, cheaper than the iPad is priced at 599 U.S. dollars.

Surface, a longer and slightly heavier than the iPad, went on sale on October 26 in conjunction with the launch of its latest operating system, Windows 8.

Microsoft hopes Surface with other Windows operating system tablet could rival the success of the iPad which still controls 70 percent of the tablet market since 2010.

Since its emergence, the popularity of the iPad has destroyed a mini laptop or netbook market and lower sales of PCs, in other words take the market and Microsoft Windows.

Since announced in June, Microsoft has always shut up about the price of Surface. They just revealed the price Surface will compete with similar products on the market.

Some market observers speculate Surface later will be priced cheaper than the iPad 2, even cheaper than the Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7.

On October 26, in addition to available in stores in the United States and Canada, Surface also can be ordered online for consumers in Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, and Britain.
