Amazon on Thursday, revealed that the newly launched Kindle Fire has sold millions of units. It was delivered through a press release, but Amazon refused to give sales figures.
In a press release, stated that the customer has purchased more than one million device of Kindle family every week for 3 consecutive weeks. Kindle Fire is a complement of other families such as the standard Kindle standard, Kindle touch and Kindle Keyboard.
Even so, Amazon did not declare Kindle Fire as a company selling products sold by online retailers.
"Kindle Fire is the most successful product we've ever launched, Amazon's best-selling product for 11 weeks in a row, we have sold millions of units and we are building millions more to meet the high demand," said Amazon Kindle vice president, Dave Limp, such as reported by Apple Insider, Friday (12/16/2011).
The amount of interest in the Kindle Fire, because the device is considered a simple, integrated with services that make it easy to do the things they like, such as watching movies, reading books and download the application.
One estimate earlier this month, Amazon will ship 3.9 million units during the holiday season Kindle Fire. In fact, some reports suggest the Kindle Fire will have a negative effect on sales for Apple's iPad, which prompted some Wall Street analysts reduced their sales projections for the fourth quarter of 2011.
