Google & Samsung Launches Laptop with Chrome OS


Google released a laptop that uses the Chrome operating system called Samsung Chromebook. Portable computer cooperation Google and Samsung will be available in the market starting on Monday (22/7) .

Reported TheVerge, Samsung Chromebook's 11.6-inch screen, adopting the latest processor technology, the Exynos chip 5 with two Dual core Cortex A15 CPU and the Mali-T604 GPU. This laptop has also been reinforced by the Cortex A15 processor with a speed of 1.7 GHz.


In addition to its processor and GPU are quite capable, Samsung Chromebook is also equipped with 2 GB of RAM, SSD storage capacity of 16 GB, Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity, two USB ports (a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port) and a port HDMI.

This laptop also has a capacity of 4080 mAh battery claimed can last up to 6.3 hours.

Samsung Chromebook comes with a color cast silver and is priced at U.S. $ 249.99.

With the specifications and the features it has, the Samsung Chromebook will be close to fully replace the role of the desktop PC. Moreover, the price offered by Google's notebook is only half of the price of other notebooks on the market that comes with the same size.

In addition to the standard version, Google and Samsung also plans to release a Chromebook 3G version priced at U.S. $ 329.99.
