2013 Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet will be launched in the event the Los Angeles auto show in November.
The model has a roof that is soft and can be opened and closed in 10 seconds. Unlike previous models, this model has a flat roof openings and allowing vision to the rear, as quoted by Auto Car.
Latest Beetle Cabriolet comes with a choice of seven engines and reflect the type of model hatchback.VW prepared 1.2-liter TSI petrol engine with 103 bhp power.
Later, the machine will have the BlueMotion technology. 1.4-liter TSI engine with 158 bhp power and a 2.0 TSI engine with power 197 bhp petrol engine variants complete.
The model also has a choice of 1.6-liter TDI diesel engine that can give off power 103 bhp and 2.0-liter TDI engine that can give off power 138 bhp without BlueMotion technology.
Volkswagen spokesman confirmed that the model will show multllink hatchback at the front and beam suspension at the rear. Only the top model that has a 2.0 TSI four-link arrangement at the rear more sophisticated.
Like the hatchback Beetle model, Cabriolet will be made at the Volkswagen plant in Puebla, Mexico. The models share the same platform as the Jetta which is a modified version of the MK6 Golf platform.
