Apple Officially Launches iPad Mini Screen 7.9 Inch

iPad Mini comes with a screen measuring 7.9 inches with a thickness of 7.2 mm (23% thinner than New iPad) and weighs 0.68 pounds or about 300 grams (53% lighter than New iPad).

"This is not the version of the iPad, but this is a new design of the Apple tablet," said Vice President of Global Sales Apple Phil Schiller, at the launch of the iPad Mini.


iPad Mini comes with a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, equivalent to display the screen on the iPad 1 and iPad 2. Apple tiny tablet is equipped with a dual-core A5 processor and features the latest Apple connector, the Lightning Connector.

The tablet is also equipped with an iSight camera on the back with a resolution of 5 megapixels and the front camera FaceTime HD camera.

iPad Mini priced starting at U.S. $ 329 or about to WiFi 16 GB version and $ 659 for the 64 GB version of 4G LTE.

Schiller said that the iPad Mini to the WiFi version will be released on 2 November 2012, while the 4G LTE version will be available on the market two weeks later.
